This course is designed for those who are now living abroad and wish to study
in Japan long-term with a pre-college visa. We have four new admission seasons
a year: April, July, October and January. You should apply about 6 months in advance
for each semester. The 24-months course is especially good for applicants who
aim to study in Japanese colleges/universities in the future.

Short-term courses are available for those who obtain a valid visa to stay
in Japan. Students can enter courses at any time, but in order to study more effectively,
we recommend starting a short-term course in either April, July, October or January.

Curriculum (Regular course /Short-term course) |

‘ Introduction (3 months)
- Basic greetings, self-introduction, classroom expressions.
- Pronunciation, intonation practice.
- Hiragana reading and writing.
- Katakana reading and writing.

‘ Beginners (6 months)
- Conversation practice: mainly repetition of conversation exercises using basic vocabulary and grammar. And also practice with using KEITAI (polite form) and JOUTAI (plain form) correctly.
- Reading /Writing: Achievement goal of 1500-2000 words, 200 sentences patterns and 500 Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana.

‘ Intermediate (9 months)
- The practice using reading materials with the achievement goal of 5000-7000 words, 1000-1500 Kanji, and high level grammar.
- Composition and comprehension of idiomatic expressions and phrases.
- Composition exercises.
- Exercises using dictionaries.

‘ Advanced(3 months)
- Exercises to achieve individual goals in Japanese.
Achievement goal of 5000-7000 words, 1000-1500 Kanji, high level grammar.
- Comprehension of materials such as newspapers or magazines, by introducing
idiomatic expressions and phrases.
- Composition and discussion
- Listening comprehension and conversation
- Total exercises to obtain the ability of applied Japanese, which is necessary in social situations, study, and research at universities and professional schools.

‘ Classes will be scheduled either in the morning or in the afternoon.
‘ Students will be placed in the appropriate classes based on a level check.

A private course is available for those who obtain a valid visa to stay in Japan. We recommend it for those who want to study Japanese intensively. Tuition fee for the private course is different from regular course and short-term course. Please contact us for information. |
