| Q.What kind of measures do you set for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test? |

The Japanese Language Proficiency Test consists of four levels, from first to fourth grade. It is important to take the test in order to know your Japanese ability. In order to enter some universities, students must have passed the test. So, one of the most important goals for study is to pass the first grade. |
| Q.How do the living expenses in Sendai compare with other large cities in Japan? |

Compared with Tokyo, Sendai is much cheaper. In fact living in Sendai, rather than Tokyo, for one year saves \200,000 to \300,000 in food and living expenses. Sendai has a population of more than 1,000,000, therefore, both shopping and transportation are convenient. The people of Sendai are very kind and the city boasts an abundance of natural beauty. Sendai has an excellent environment for students. |
| Q.Can I have a part-time job? |

You are allowed to undertake part-time work, as long as it is no more than 4 hours per day. In order to work, you must obtain permission from the Regional Legal Affairs Bureau. However, according to the rules of our school, it is prohibited to have a part-time job within the first three months of enrollment. In addition, we advise students who cannot manage school work and a part-time job at the same time to refrain from having a job. |
| Q. Is a one-year period of studying permitted? |

You have to follow a pre-decided course. Therefore, you are not allowed to quit the course after only a year. |
| Q. What are the teachers like? |
 |

Many are graduates of reputable private and public universities throughout Japan and have a Japanese Teaching Certificate. Additionally, some teachers have experience teaching at universities abroad. All the teachers have extensive experience and will be sensitive to your needs and ability. |
| Q.Do you have any dormitory accommodation available? |

We have one dormitory for women. Men’s dormitory is available by subleasing a local apartment. Dormitory rooms should be shared with two or three roommates. |
